Welcome to Attica first Presbyterian Church
Our
Story
The First Presbyterian Church started as the First Congregational Society in the Town of Attica. The date signed October 20, 1819.
​
The orginal meeting house was finished in the summer of 1829. Paid for by the sale of pews.
​
In 1869 a committee of six was formed- 4 gentlemen, 2 women- to propose a plan with specifications for a new brick church capable of seating 300 persons. The current sanctuary was completed in 1873.

In 1890, Johnson and Son Tracker Organ Opus 744. It was first shown at the Chicago World's Fair and then present to First Presbyterian
​
1939 at the annual meeting became the congregation and corporation of the First Presbyterian Church.
